A Nate Funny

A few nights ago I needed to go to Target for a few things. I asked Nate if he wanted to go to the store. He said, "yes, Mommy, I go to store". On the way there we had a conversation about what we needed to buy and about stoplights (red, green, go, stop, etc). As we pulled into the parking lot I said "look Nate, it's Target". He immediately shouted back "No Mommy, it's the store. I responded "Yes, Nate, you are right, it's the store". With a clever grin he said "I know"!

Matthew in the News

Brian, Matthew and I were invited back to Capitol Hill last week for a press conference. Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas reintroduced the Prenatally/Postnatally Diagnosed Condition Awareness Act sponsored by Brownback and Edward Kennedy from Massachusetts.

Catching Up

To our regular blog readers - it's been a month since I have posted. One would assume we don't have anything to blog about. Definitely not the case! Life has been very busy. We have enjoyed the summer by visiting family and friends, going to the pool and Water Mine and enjoying a lot of activities with the boys. Nate has been in swim lessons the last two weeks and regularly practices his scoops and kicks. I believe we have a future swimmer on our hands just like his momma. Matthew has become a celebrity and was recently featured on a news clip for an ABC affiliate news station in Topeka, KS. I'll catch up on all of the posts in the next few days. Thanks to all who have reminded me that my blog is outdated:)
